I believe that priorities are very important, and are a most in order for you to better yourself. Once you have your priorities straight then you can focus on them better and ultimately accomplish what you need to accomplish. I suppose if you don’t like your priorities in the first place then you won’t be successful in that particular area and it is a waste of time to have that as main concern. My personal priorities are Family, Football, School, and Work (in that particular order) which are all things that are very important to me and I hope to make each of these priorities the best that I possibly can by further understanding them, having values and of course goals.
My family is my life, I started my family very young by having a baby at 18 but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Not only my wife and son but whole family support me no matter what whether I am right or wrong they give me guidance I need and it does hurt that there is a lot of love. In the future I hope for my family to be healthy above all, but I also wish for support amongst us to grow even stronger. I pray for everybody to have success in what they so wish to do and let nothing stop them. There are too many nicknames in my family so I just call them one big Familia that I love.
Football has been a part of my life since I was little watching football at home. Since I can remember I wanted to go professional and I know it’s nearly impossible but as long as there is still a slim chance I won’t give up on my dream. Not only is football fun for me but it also keeps me in shape. It also gives me a rush or sense of intensity that I get nowhere else. I really don’t know how to explain it other than saying it is my passion.
Work is something we all have to deal with in life whether you like it or not. I recently learned that work can be how you make it out to be. In other words, if you go to work with lazy cranky attitude then that’s how it will be for one instead of going happy and exciting so your work can be like that. I work at Sam’s club stocking, I don’t intend to work there long, only until I finish my schooling but while there I want to see how good I can get at what I do. I have already been offered supervisor so that is a goal I have r I ached but am extending to see how much higher I can get in management. I also like the teamwork there and it gives you an attitude to work hard and I believe it makes you honest hard worker.
Schooling even though sometimes not fun is a must! Finish school, finish school, is all I can remember hearing but now I know how important it is. School offers you knowledge which in the end is the most important thing you posses and can’t lose. It helps you better your life in finding a good job, and gives you tools you can use in your everyday life. Without school there is no real improvement in going beyond what we already know no further curiosity in what we do not yet know.
All these priorities go hand in hand with each other, without school and work I can’t support my family. Without school I would not have played football and so on. All of these things have goals and values to me as I have stated and I know I will accomplish those goals and the values for them will not change. I hope that with these main things that shape my everyday life I can find other priorities that I will love and just keep expanding my interest.
